This summer enter the magical world of puppets, some the size of your palm and some twice your size. Design and create your own character, a one eyed monster or a beautiful fairy, a flying dragon or a creature from outer space. EXPERIMENT!!! Write your own scripts and learn to move the puppets. Scare or enchant your friends or tickle them pink with the crazy antics of your puppet. If you like working with your hands, painting, voice modulating, designing, acting and having lots of fun come and join us in our PUPPET LAB ©

Who can Join

Puppet Lab© is short summer course. It is open to novices too. Puppet Lab trains individuals through its regular workshops and on hands exposure held at periiodic Intervals, You can invite PuppetLab© to your club, society, organisation, school, school club, office clubs.

 
  • Puppet Lab© - Summer action workshops
      Workshop Age
    1 THE SHADOW LAB!! Group of 25 Age 9-14 Years
    • Shadow puppetry workshops for ages 9-14 ending in short performances
    • Duration- 5 days , 2 hours daily
    • No of children- 25 or less*
    • Materials required- Cardboard, cutters, needle and thread and cellophane paper
      We will bring everything else!
    2 FUN WITH GLOVE PUPPETS! Group of 25 ages 5-8
    • Glove puppetry workshops for ages 5-8 ending in short performances
    • Duration- 5 days , 2 hours daily
    • No of children- 25 or less*
    • Materials required- Office glue, plastic bowls, toilet paper, fabric and wool
    • We will bring everything else!
    3 THE MASK CARNIVAL!! Group of 20
    • MASKS and puppets for 5 years and above ending in Exhibition
    • Duration- 5 days, 2 hour daily
    • No of Children- 20 per session*
    • Materials required- Corrugated cardboard roll, paint, brushes, staplers
    • We will bring everything else
    2 PUPPET LAB FOR TEACHERS!! Group of 15 X 5 days
    • We also offer teacher training programs on using puppets in the classroom
      1.Puppets for storytelling and introducing new concepts in the class for nursery and Prep – This workshops focuses on developing content for the classroom using puppets like teaching alphabets, poems, cleanliness or good manners.
    • 2. Puppets for interactive activities and creating stories to teach specific concepts in science and social studies. These could be as varied as the water cycle to plant life to the history of Ancient India.
    • NO OF TEACHERS- Maximum 15 in a session
      DURATION- 3 Hours a day for 5 days
