The Little Bluer Planet (Puppet Show)

The little Blue Planet

The little Blue Planet was commissioned by the JSW foundation as a part of their collaboration with the Climate Change Project. The show looks at the phenomena of rapid climate change in the world today caused by irresponsible human exploitation of natural resources which causes extreme weather changes, flood and droughts displacing millions around the world.

The show has no spoken words and was created for mainly children and families. It premiered at the Little Theatre at NCPA Mumbai.

Kuch Un-khule hue se Panne

This performance is a docu-drama, which looks at the lesser known heroes of the Indian struggle for independence like Madam Bikaji Cama, Surya Sen and Matangini Hazra. Each of these individuals made great sacrifices. Madam Bikaji Cama left a life of comfort and her husband to become a revolutionary, Surya Sen was hanged and Matangini Hazra at age 73 led a non violent protest during the Civil dieobedience movement and was shot for it. With photo documentation from the archives of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library it takes the audience on an audio-visual journey with shadow, puppets, projections and actors.
