Our training workshops cover children in schools, summer camps, festivals, teacher training workshops for nursery teachers as well as specific subject teachers, training for field workers in NGOs. In the workshops training is given in puppet construction, manipulation, script writing and performance. The workshops are tailor-made for specific uses like using puppets as teaching tools, or tools of communication or simply a form of expression.(Workshops)
-
Social Media Communication-
Kat-katha has worked extensively in the field of outreach, therapy, awareness generation and creation of dialogue for problem solving. The areas have varied from HIV/AIDS awareness to working with women in Kashmir for trauma therapy. We believe in not one sided speech to a passive audience but in creating a participatory dialogue where the puppet is a catalyst which creates a space for self expression for the audience itself.(Social media)
